Riding for 30 mins, stopping to shed layers. Too good. Even if we did stop again to put them back on.

After a few big nights out sporting 3 day hangovers, we headed out in search of a manhole cover that leads into Newcastle’s Victoria Tunnel, (not the open-to-the-public guided tour part).

After snapping some screwdrivers and spending an hour jacking up the hatch, we were in. When I saw we, I mean Allan, I didn’t fancy some dog-walker closing it on us if we all went in. Or that’s my excuse anyway. Photos from inside to follow…
