Wikipedia snippet #1

“Around this time, Jones gained notoriety when, as he was being profiled for an MTV biography, he took two of his thirteen children by limousine to a New York State welfare office to pick up his welfare check while his latest album was still in the top ten of the US charts. The entire incident was filmed by an MTV camera crew and was broadcast nationwide.”

First blog post that’s not something I’ve done, but this is amazing. Everywhere you are choosing colour should do this, not just bikes.

Summer

March 9th, 2010

Amazing ride Sunday, hit the coast with Ricardo, and we got a proper glimpse of warmth. Riding for 30 mins, stopping to shed layers. Too good. Even if we did stop again to put them back on.

No pics from the day, but reminded me of this.

Found this photo taken from the Sage, from ages ago on some now-defunct tilt shift app, and before it got crazy! Worked sweet from that height.

Victoria Tunnel UPDATED

February 15th, 2010

Wanted to work this one out ever since hearing about it through the Shithawks blog, and finally got round to it this weekend. After a few big nights out sporting 3 day hangovers, we headed out in search of a manhole cover that leads into Newcastle’s Victoria Tunnel, (not the open-to-the-public guided tour part).

After snapping some screwdrivers and spending an hour jacking up the hatch, we were in. When I saw we, I mean Allan, I didn’t fancy some dog-walker closing it on us if we all went in. Or that’s my excuse anyway. Photos from inside to follow…
